Today for lunch, I tried out the recently opened Porchetta on 7th btwn 1st and A. Get the porchetta sandwich with a side of crispy potatoes and a Boylan’s Birch Beer and you’re good to go.

Shacktoberfest time at Shake Shack.  Andouille sausage with apple and celery root slaw, fries, and german mustard.  We went at 11:50 and stood in line for only 5 minutes.  Not too bad.
